Functional Integrative Acupuncture is a westernized approach to more traditional forms of acupuncture.
Functional Integrative Acupuncture aims to reduce pain and restore function to muscles and nerves of the body by stimulating a neurological effect on the tissues which are stimulated by the acupuncture needles. Acupuncture works by releasing endorphins (natural pain killers in the body), as well as reducing muscle spasms and increasing blood flow to tissues that are damaged.
